Today was a last day of our week long program to promote Eye Donation
Awareness Campaign (through Bhagwat Katha Saptah). Every one of us
worked, through out these seven days with guidance of President Mudrak
Lalaji, Project Chair Rajendra Kinariwala and Co-chair Mukesh Thakkar.
We had an over whelming response all these seven days, could manage to
spread the message of Eye Donation to over 15000 people who participated
in this week (18 - 24
April) long event. Community around us (Borivli, Dahisar, Kandivli and
Malad....) now know about Rotary and Rotary Eye Bank. The event was
reported every day in language daily, aired live on a cable network and
now daily on a channel being aired all over the world.
We were happy to receive PDG Sajjan Goenka & Chandaji, DGN Ajay Gupta,
Rtn Virendra Widge and Rtn Ashwin Shetty on the last day of this mega
event.
Family of RC of Borivli along with - Inner Wheel Club of Borivli,
Rotaract Club of Mumbai Borivli and Team Katha is thankful to all
participants, donors and well wishers who joined hands for this noble
cause.
