Rotary Project Bhagwat Saptah as on 23rd April, 2013 - Day 6

Dear Friends,

'Charity begins at home' - we have been reading and listening this all through our school, college and social lives. Family of RC of Borivli always believed it and been at the forefront to serve the community. During planning and execution of community projects we come across many who surprise us with their commitment to serve the community, they do also admit the inspiration they get from Rotary / Rotarians.

Yet another ( tazaa..tazaa...) landmark experience was in store for us today.  A pujari who been performing puja all these last 5 days in Rotary Eye Bank Pandal was so over whelmed with Rotarians commitment towards society that he himself came foreword to donate a brick ( Rs 5000/- in the memory of his father) for Rotary Eye Bank. Now can't we say  - some impact of Rotary and selfless social work of Rotarians? Yes its time we say - Rotary.. Jai ho....!

In Community project we had organised a complete diabetic and cardio check up. An equipped mobile van with Doctors from Umra Hospital, Mira Road was at service from 9 am till 4pm. In all 250 persons were benefited with this service.

We were happy to receive District officials and Rtns - IPDG Viay Jalan, District Treasure Rajiv Shah, Rtns - Pritpal Singh Bhatia, Suresh Rupchandani, Jignesh+Geeta Dave ( with Jignesh's mother), Perzs Raju Agarwal and Rajendra Kewat. Rotary fraternity committed their support to Rotary Eye Bank. Members of RC of Borivli are thankful to all who visited and committed to support this noble cause.

Tomorrow ( 24th April), on last day the program will be in the morning between 9am and 1 pm.

नमस्कार,
Prafull J Sharma
