My dear Fellow Rotarians,

 On 31^st July 2011 we had visited our newly adopted Ashramshala at Ravtyachapada. Thank you PP Vijay ‘Dada’ Palkar for suggesting such a wonderful Ashramshala. Friends, ‘Dada’ was instrumental directly or indirectly in adopting four other Ashramshalas, one each at Sakhre, Kurje, Varvada & Sutrakar villages from 2004 to 2010. Kudos to him for taking keen interest in finding proper places for our project.

 We started at 8.00 AM by bus from Mc Donald’s, Borivali (W). Total 42 persons have participated including three inbound RYE students (one from other club).

 We distributed School Bags, Long Books, One big size Pressure Cooker, Sports Equipments like Cricket, Badminton, Carom, Chess, Wally Ball, and some of the items like Rings, Hand Swings, etc. for girl students.

 Kudos to Rtn. Sanjay Mistry for donating 315 School Bags of best quality worth approximately Rs.50,000/-. He truly reflected the spirit of Rotary- ‘Service Above Self’, by donating school bags consecutively for second year.

Kudos to Gitaben Sampat for donating Rs. 8,500/-.

Kudos to prospective Rtr. Mansi Bhalani & Unnati Bhalani for donating Long Note Books on behalf of Rotaract Club of Mumbai Borivli.

We thank Inner Wheel President Smitaben Parekh for donating new clothes to the tribal students of the school.

Kudos to non Rotarian donor Mr. Manoj for distributing Biscuits.

 Congratulations to Director Service Projects (Non-Medical I) Rtn. Rashmikant Sanghvi & Vice President Rtn. Harish Chandarana for planning and managing the entire project, worth approximately Rs.75,000/-, flawlessly.

 The school management has also requested for Sliding Windows, Play Ground Equipments and Water Purifier and we are very hopeful about fulfilling their needs in near future.

After taking lunch at Punyadham we returned at around 3.00 PM.
