PDG Bharat Pandya praised the work done by President Ajay Gandhi & his team & pledged unconditional support for any kind of activities at Rotary Service Centre.

DG Vijay Jalan congratulated President Ajay & his team for starting such wonderful projects, especially under DTA & showed his satisfaction over the first street adoption project of district 3140 i.e. adoption of T.P.S. Road.

PP Rajendra Kinariwala donated blankets to Manchrekar Acharya’s project.

Dist. Secretary CP Rajendran Unnikrishnan donated computers to start computer training programs for underprivileged at the newly formed Rotary Service Centre of our club.

After the inauguration ceremony at Rotary Service centre, all reached the Installation venue.

The meeting was called to order by Pres Ajay. It was followed by beautiful instrumental A-V presentation of our National Anthem by hearing & speech impaired students. Tribute to bomb blast victims was given by observing 1 min silence. DG Vijay Jalan, AG Subhash Kulkarni, GC Tulsidas Sawant, Pres Ajay & other dignitaries lighted the lamp providing an auspicious beginning to the program.

Beautiful invocation song was presented by R’Ann Ambika Raika & Aarti Gandhi. Thought for the day was presented by Riddhi Gandhi which was followed by recognising Dignitaries & Guests present.

Outgoing President Ashok Shetty presented the wonderful glimpses of the year 2010-2011 & he proudly announced that our club was recognized with Gold medal with Distinction. PP Prafull Sharma gave details about TRF Alumni S. C. Agarkar & PHF certificate was presented to him for his generous contribution to TRF during 2010-11.

CP Vinay Vyas gave a wonderful introduction of Pres. Ajay Gandhi.

Installation proceedings started & next Guards were exchanged. President Ajay appreciated IPP Ashok Shetty & his team for the accolades won during 2010-11 and presented Appreciation Award on behalf of the Club to him, outgoing Secretary Rtn. Mudrak Lalaji, outgoing Treasurer Rtn. Rajul Pathak & for the first time to outgoing Sergeant at Arms Rtn. Jayesh Kapadia for their extraordinary efforts put during 2010-11. Pres Ajay in his acceptance speech unfolded the plans for the year 2011-12. He also recognized his family members & core team members.

The Board Of Directors for Rotary year 2011-2012 was installed at the hands of DG Vijay Jalan.

After the Installation, Vaishaki Purecha d/o Sudan Purecha was inducted by Membership Dir. Narinder Shah & her induction as Active Rotarian was done at the hands of DG Vijay. She thereafter accepted the charge as Chairman – Polio Plus for 2011-12.

PP Rajendra Kinariwala & R’Ann Rekha Kinariwala were felicitated for becoming Major Donor. Members of BOD Rtn. Dhiraj Shah & Rtn. Avinash Gujarathi, old members Rtn. Jitendra Vora & Rtn. Nimesh Trivedi as well as new members Rtn. Chetan Joshi, Rtn. Chirag Shah & Rtn. Prakash Shah, were felicitated for their commitment to become PHF during 2011-12.

July 2011 issue of monthly club bulletin ‘Kanheri Rotary’ was released by DG Vijay Jalan in presence of Editor PP Nitin Majithia & Co-Editor R’Ann Sarita Gujarathi. Pres Ajay on behalf of the Club, handed over a cheque to District General Fund.

GC IPP Tulsidas Sawant was introduced by Rtn. Vaisakhi Purecha & he further introduced AG PP Subhash Kulkarni. AG gave us his assurance that he would be ever prepared to visit our club, be it any function or meeting and he further assured every assistance to the club & club members. He also introduced DG Vijay Jalan.

DG gave a wonderful & informative speech and was impressed that all his thrust areas were covered by Pres Ajay. He also appreciated the Club for providing dynamic & visionary leaders beyond club level.

Secretary Rajul Pathak covered details about forthcoming projects & programs in secretarial announcement followed by formal Vote Of Thanks proposed by PE Mudrak Lalaji. A Gujarati couplet "Pankhar gayi ane vasant aavi" was narrated in the end by Rtn. Lalit Jadav before the adjournment of meeting. Total present was 160.
