*Day 1*

Venue - L & M Rotary Centre, S. V. Road, Malad (W), Mumbai

From 4.30 pm Registration of the participants and Fellowship over Snacks/Tea set the ball rolling.

Meeting was called to order by President  Prafull  Acharya. The project kicked off with the traditional Lighting of Lamp & Floral welcome to the guests.

Convenor IPP Manish Gyani spoke about the Purpose of program & gave his opening remarks. He also shared that this year DG Dr. Jayant has specially emphasised on participation of Non-Rotaractor youth in RYLAs & in line with the same he informed about the participation of youth from RCC & Non-Rotaractors.

The Introduction of the first speaker Mr. Radhakrishnan Pillai was given by President Ashok Shetty.

Dr. Radhakrishnan Pillai spoke on Chanakya's writings on Leadership for youth. He connected well with the audience and gave an excellent presentation.

President Jainendra Jain Introduced Chief Guest PDG Nitin Mangaldas who spoke eloquently on Global Warming and gave a lot of practical pointers to the participants for the projects that they can carry out in the community.


Co-Convenor Rtr. Niharika Purohit then took charge and the teams Agni, Jal, Prithvi, Akash and Vayu from amongst the participants was formed. Details about activities, rules & regulations were also given by her. Two activities were compulsary - tree plantation and preparation of a poster. The teams could do any of the other activities they liked.

The prizes announced were

Winners - The winning team will be given a citation and a cash prize of Rs 1,500/-.

1stRunner-Up - The 1st Runner Up team will be given a citation and a cash prize of Rs1,250/-.

2ndRunner-Up - The 2nd Runner Up team will be given a citation and a cash prize of Rs 1,000/-.

MostInnovativeIdeaAward - The team/participant who comes out with most innovative idea for the activity during the RYLA will be awarded a citation and a cash prize of Rs 750/-.

PDG Nitin Mangaldas announced a further cash prize of Rs 500 for innovative project.Vote of Thanks was proposed by Vice President Mudrak Lalaji

*Day 2 *

The teams carried out their chosen projects in their communities

In the morning and afternoon the teams carried out their chosen projects in their communities

In the afternoon the concluding session was held at L & M Rotary Centre, S. V. Road, Malad (W), Mumbai

Meeting was called to order By President Jainendra Jain of RC Dahisar, After the brief welcome address by convener IPP Manish, Participants were called for their presentations. Various participating teams presented their work through PPT, on the subject Global warming and how it can destroy our mother earth. Each team made excellent presentations, most impressive was Akash with in a short span of 36 hours they have done various activities in the community like tree plantation, protection, no to plastic, pollution awareness etc. President RC Andheri, shared a very useful talk on global warming. President RC Borivli declared the winner and other Awards as under.
