 The charter cum installation ceremony of Interactor Club of Borivli was a scintillating and heart warming affair.

Rotary President Ashok, Chief Guest CDG  Rahul Timbadia, Interact President Sashmi Pandya, Interact Secretary Vishwa Chandarana and Rtn Viren Jethwa – Director New Generation  were on the dias. A galaxy of Rotary dignitaries were in attendance – PDG Bharat Pandya, PP & Dist Secretary Praful Sharma, PP & Dist Asst Trainer Rajendra Kinariwala, PPs Paresh Shah, Sanjiv Shah, Nitin Majithia, Chetan Desai and Manish Gyani, IW President Surekha Punamia, Roteract President Bhumika Soni – it sure was glittering.

The function started with the national anthem and the lighting of the lamp. Interactor Janvi Desai offered prayers by reciting 3 slokas.

Pres Ashok welcomed the dignitaries and the guests. Rtn Viren gave his guidance. Pres Ashok then gave his address . the charter of the club received from RI was presented to Sashmi and she was collared as the President of the club.

Interactor Avriti Sharma introduced Sashmi.

Pres Sashmi then gave her acceptance speech and introduced her team – Vice President Moulik Popat, Secretary, Vishwa Chandarana, Treasurer Nupur Shah, Director Community Projects Dimple Soni and Director International Projects Jay Gyani.

There are 25 charter members and 3 new members were inducted today who were presented to the gathering by Interactor Dimple.

Today being teacher’s day Inteactor Yash Majithia gave a talk on the same and two Rtn teachers – Geeta Sampat and Bhairavi Desai – were felicitated.

PP Manish, gave an interesting introduction of CDG RAhul who in his inimitable style enthused and encouraged the interactors.  

Interactor Nupur Shah ably compered the program. Secretary Vishwa made the secretarial announcement and Interactor Moulik gave the vote of thanks.

It was heartening to see the confident poise of the interactors when they spoke – most of them speaking from memory. Wow. We wish them all the best and a wonderful year ahead.
