President Ashok called the meeting to order and the National Anthem was sung.

The traditional lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries was followed by invocation song by miss Niloma Popat

PP Chetan educated the gathering about Rotary and Rotary Club of Borivli.

IPP Manish introduced Shri Chandrakant Kamdar who gave a informative and lucid talk covering the various aspects including the practical aspects of arbitration. This was followed by a question – answer session.

Director Vocational Service II Lalit introduced the next speaker – our own PP Prakash Desai. He gave a masterly account of India vis a vis the world economy and investment ideas.

PP Nitin introduced Shri Deven Choksey. With bated breath the gathering listened to his well researched and reasoned opinion of the stock market boom. A question answer session followed.

President Ashok thanked the event supporters and Secretary Mudrak proposed a hearty vote of thanks.
Attendance - Rotarians 23, guests 188 - Total 211
The big attendance speaks volumes of the interesting topics and the learned speakers.
All present gained a further insight in the ocean of wisdom and information. And with such a large learned audience it was also a wonderful Rotary PR exercise..
