SPREADING JOY AND CHEER IN THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHT

our annual project eagerly awaited by the 600 tribal children of the ashramshala went of with a bang.
mouth watering dinner was first served to the children
then it was time for some fun & games - passing the parcel, bombing the city.
dj followed - the school turned into an open air disco with 600 enthusiastic children, their teachers and equally charged-up rotarians danced to the turn of the dj specially arranged for the program.
and then the icing on the cake - crackers. the children sitting in a circle with the fuljhadis in their hand made a beautiful picture. and soon the large crackers lit up the sky
well planned and stylishly executed - kudos to director harish and team.
words cannot describe the happiness of the children and the satisfaction of the Rotarians - it has to be experienced. those who were there had a great time. we missed those who could not make it.
